Restarting Weekly Writing

February 8, 2026 · 1 min read

I have not been writing on this blog lately; however, I feel a strong decline in my ability to focus when I reduce writing and reading activities and focus on the results. Today I don't have anything special to write down, but I will still try to spill out information about what I have learnt, thought, and done throughout last week.

First of all, trying to write every day is a big challenge, and I couldn't do it in the last month, so I will calibrate my expectations. Starting today, I will try to log weekly, and for consistency I will log every Sunday. Let's see in the next month if I am going to be able to consistently write down my experiences through the month!

This week was a bit lonely compared to my previous months because my beloved kids have gone to my wife's hometown. I don't know why, but I always feel uneasy about sending my family off to my wife's hometown. Maybe the reason is that I really love my kids and want to be together all the time :).

Just today, while talking with my lovely big sister, I discovered that technically I want to build an agent that crawls specific real-world places for pinpoint information. For example, let's say I want to know each and every one of the places in Topkapi Matbaacilar Sitesi. Then I would need to check out every company inside Matbaacilar Sitesi, call or message them one by one, collect unstructured data from people, and convert spoken human information into distilled, structured data on services, prices, and time frames. This will enable me to discover the services that have the best price among the many companies in Topkapi Matbaacilar Sitesi. The good thing is this can be replicated for various businesses and sites in Turkey. This idea might cut the middleman out for services such as press, and buyers can get the best price with a better experience. This can be monetized with selective, quality ads, which will not bring a large amount of money but can at least sustain itself without any other support.
